It appears that your training with this U.A.V. is to put it bluntly, SHIT. How have you been instructed to use this thing did it say "Now, hold the bird in the air and throw it really hard like a monkey throwing shit at spectators at the zoo" I give up. You are supposed to throw it like a javellin, i.e straight and level, low angle it will practically fly out of your hand. Better luck next time.

This is horseshit! You guys are are throwing it wrong and you know it! We used the raven almost everyday in Afghanistan. Yeah sometimes when you throw it it crashes, but it's because of the way you throw it. This tool is amazing, the amount of intel you can gather from it alone is worth it's weight in gold!! Learn to throw!!

@daddio195666 to reduce the take off distance over the ground. If you take off with a tailwind you would have to match the wind speed then add your take off speed. Put simply, it reduces your runway size.
