@pachaKamaq You need to check out my fishing vid from earlier this summer. You will see that the river then was fishable. Its not fishable anymore unless you like reeling in weeds.

The bass are still there, prolly just moved off a little deeper. The shallows become oxygen starved under those late summer conditions.
You should invest in a belly boat, you'd love it. Easy to get around in the back of your truck and launch it anywhere.

I don't agree at all on your point about politics being a good idea for the yoursay section. Having the odd political rant within a rant about other shit is fine, but the person you mention has a 100% record talking about politics 100% of the time. If this is how the yoursay section is going, it wont be worth commenting any longer. :(

Nice vid. The water here is not like that but it is murky and way low. My dilemma today was ride my bike or go fishing. The bike won out although I only put 150 miles on it.

Loves me some fried fish and chips!
Question , how do YOU store meat without freezer burn?
I vacuum seal mine , and I also know of the old fashioned way of dipping meat in cold water then placing in the freezer till frozen and re dipping it a few more times , but that is to much hassle.
I'm doing a random sample.

@RustRocket--For freezing fish, I put them in a freezer bag then fill it with water, seal it and put in the freezer. If you get all of the air pockets out it will last for several years. Just saying.

With the price of meat these day's it's smart to buy it when it's on sale , and put it up.
It's a crime to let it get freezer burn, right.
Well I have always wanted a vacuum sealer , but I have held off because I don't want to pay out the ass for one and be co dependent on those special bags , my luck is they will phase it out and come up with another variation.
So one day I was putting up some burger and I had some freezer bags that I got at Walmart , I pressed out More..
