You have some valid points, however most of the fsa are not made from islamists but former members of the regimes security forces. Your obviously going to have islamists in the area as the country has a history of this . It is a Islamic Arab country at the end of the day.
Another point the muslim brother hood has always been active in syria and as it is a Arab Islamic group its not confined to one country but to the whole Islamic region
