@mikedelta12 Its a difficult decision but if we went with the CATOBAR option we would only have 1 carrier and it would be fully operational in 2023 (too long)
So instead we went with the STOVL and we (should) get both carriers in STOVL configuration, with the first carrier operational with aircraft by 2020.

Compared with a Carnival cruise ship or a Supertanker, frigates or destroyers are small. Aircraft carriers are of similar size to a cruise ship
