  • This guys sounds like he's the victim when he was fishing illegally in Norwegian waters and when he was confronted by the Norwegian coast guard about it he decided the best thing to do was adbuct 2 norwegian inspectors and flee to Russia...

  • It's kinda sad at the end where the Captain talks as if he might be back at sea. There seems little chance of that.

    Those pictures of his net are pretty damning.

    The abduction charges are excessive though. They boarded his fucking vessel so that's complete bullshit.

    • @dorbie In the norwegian economic zone the norwegian authorities have the power. Not following the orders of the coast guard is illegal. Since the russians didn't follow orders it counts as an abduction.

This is why we have courts and juries, so that fascist wanks like you don't get to capriciously elevate charges beyond reason, in this instance where a captain decided to sail his ship where he choose with a couple of intruders on board who said they did not try to take over the ship and were well treated.
