that certainly doesn't look like a hand gun. I would tell them I would only register it with the NYPD flintlock license division and wait for their response.

I don't know what the fee is in NY City, but in Buffalo the fee is $125.00 for the initial permit.
And besides that it is a rifle.

There are no guns allowed in NYC. That is a direct violation of our second amendment rights..

You forget, the Constitution allows for "reasonable" time/place restriction. The problem with that, is that in the hands of liberals, completely devoid of integrity and thrilled to play word games, "reasonable" means anything. You cannot give them the discretion to determine what is or is not "reasonable".

All they have to do is suspend disbelief, ignore their cognitive dissonance, and declare with a straight face that they're SURE the founding fathers would consider a complete and total gun ban to be a "reasonable" restriction.

Just as Obama did when he declared the DC ban to be reasonable and perfectly Constitutional. Of course he changed that when he campaigned, lying as always, and said it was not Constitutional.

Someone really should sue the city or state of NY. With the DC ban overturned, the SCOTUS would have to recognize that precedent and rule it to be unconstitutional in NY also.

  • I don't think this is the weapon of choice for bodega holdups and drive-by shootings. It's not regulated because it falls under the description of antique. Besides, it looks unwieldy if someone wants to use it from the backseat of a 5-Series riding on 20-inch rims.
