Iceberg Tsunami >
(Quoted) > " A tourist from Australia came to my uncle and asked if she could get a
ride to the glacier just north of Ilulissat, Greenland, so he asked me
if I wanted to be his translator. I am from another town where glaciers
are fairytales, I was as much of a tourist as the Australian tourist, so
I decided to join the crew.
The beautiful scenery was amazing, but the nature doesn't care about anyone. That day almost became our last day. "
I'm surprised how quick that wave caught up to them.

That could've flipped the boat, would've fallen into the water, hypothermia, and then drowning for them all, cool ass video.

Wow. That is what glaciers do all the time - calve and break up and create huge waves.
Your life is in the lap of the gods when you're close to the terminal face of a glacier, on land or at sea. Lord knows the number of people killed by ignoring warning signs at the face of some of New Zealand's easily accessible glaciers.
