The movie theater is a GUN FREE ZONE. How much good was that. Aurora has a strict gun control. That didn't stop this masacre. Chicago banned gun ownership yet it had over 1 murder per day in 2011. As a matter of fact, cities with strict gun control have high gun crimes; Detroit, Washington DC, New York, Los Angeles. In cities with gun freedom , there are less crime.

There are far to many guns in circulation in the U.S,for a ban to have any effect.In GB you get 7yrs in jail for owning a hand gun.In the U.S you would have to jail millions of people.When they brought the handgun ban into GB,only a few thousand people had legal handguns,so the ban had little effect.Americans seem to take the view that M.A.D is the best way to deter armed criminals,and with the huge amount of guns in circulaton,they maybe right?

@skrillas you better hurry. It's historically been easier in the USA to keep a gun you already HAVE BOUGHT. Gun laws go in only one direction, MORE and STRICTER. Those so-called relaxation of gun laws in DC were hollow shells, a bone thrown towards 2A that were really meaningless.
