After more than a year of tolerating Turkey's harboring of Al Qaeda
terrorists on its territory, President Bashar el Assad granted
semi-autonomous status to Kurdish Syrian districts.
This effectively
releases the Kurdish jinn from its bottle. Whatever gains Erdogan
scored with NATO and Gulf Arabs for giving safe refuge to the enemies of
Syria will be offset by the Kurdish bomb about explode in Turkey.

  • Good Job President Assad. You have to fight fire with fire, fuck those Turks and their assistance to the rebels as far as logistics go.

    • @mphatik To support the FSA and the NATO with the anti-rocket shield , was or is the biggest mistake by the turkish government.

  • Dip your toes too deep in the water and a big ol' crocodile might just get you.

and dont look for assad to fall to far. he still has a large army, he will fall back to deeply loyal areas and areas with a minor Sunni population who fear the majority Sunni.

Look for a breakup of Syria like we saw in Yugoslavia with each team Kurds, Sunni's, Assads getting "3rds". Outside forces still worry about Assad's chem weapons, there won't be much of them doing anything out in the open.

  • It was coming Turkey let FSA members camps to train and let them arm themselves for a year now Assad plays the pkk hand its like a chess in the end both king and pawn goes into to same box. I dont want a war with Syrian brothers they can mind their own country with assad or without assad every country should mind their own bussiness unfortunately this becomes nonsense when economic or geopolitical also political issues enter the equoation. I hope bloodshet in Syria be over soon and Turkey wont More..

  • The PKK has been fighting in Turkey, Iraq, and Iran for years all Bashar Assad did was give them an autonomous state that require Syrian passports, basicly giving these people a legitimate place to live without being persecuted. The Iraqis did the same thing in 2005.

  • the king of syria gives some of his land to kurds ?

    keep dreaming

There won't be any partition of the syrian territory, I am sure Turkey already got all the guarantees from opposition (futur syrian government) about this.

  • Well, thats the excuse Turkey/NATO needed for Syria invasion. Assad, this is a bad move in long term. However I believe there is no long term for Assad.

    • @grindkore It is no longer Syria, it is Syrian-Kurdish semi-autonomous region. Do you want to deny the Kurds their freedom and independence? Do you see how fucked up your foreign policy looks? You support AlQaeda and deny Kurds their freedom.

    • @nutsflipped As a person despite our differences in religious and social views, I feel bad for a common person that has to suffer under tyranny of any country/dictator. Having said that, the entire middle East region is full of ethnic intolerance. You guys are doing it to yourself.

Sunnies vs. Shia vs. Alawites, vs. Jews vs. Kurds vs. everyone else. No one is pefect, but your religion is what drives this hate and empowers dictators and AlQuida.
