    or maybe riding a skateboard gives them a sense of purpose and self satisfaction not to mention the qualities derived from engaging in a challenging, very athletic sport. a lot of wasteoid delinquents in jail are there because they have nothing to do thats worthwhile like sports (i.e. skateboarding)
