Edited for file size...Sit back and enjoy this 7-minute long video demonstration of a flying Seafire Mk.XV, PR503. The presenter is Jim Cooper, the man who led the restoration of this ex-Royal Canadian Navy fighter. I'll post the balance if there is demand for it, but the meat of the video is here.
Jim talks about the aircraft, its Spitfire ancestry and the role that the Seafire played in World War II. He also demonstrates its features, including the folding wings and the tail hook which were unique to this seaborne variant of the Spitfire.
PR503 made its first post-restoration flight last year on July 1, 2010 in Canada.
