In the original screenplay of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Richard O'Brien and Jim Sharman wanted to use film clips from various b-movies that are mentioned in the opening song. This is the alternative version of "Science Fiction/Double Feature" that creates that original idea and borrows some creative liberties from the Rhino Records LP soundtrack for the use of credit titles instead of the popular blood lettercase.
