You mean fetus, Judge?
Also, if I cut off your finger, all the genetic stuff required for a human, is there too.
If you take a fetus out of a mother before the second tri, can it survive?

@Blue3tar
Youre comparing an unborn child to a finger because the DNA is present?
You missed the point by a mile.
Big fan of baby murder?

who cares? aren't there enough people? its certainly better to be killed before having consciousness than to live a miserable life raised by a mother who didn't want a baby. not that this wouldn't happen when abortion is allowed but it certainly wont diminuish when people are forced into that.
plus: this kind of arguments often comes from people who would agree with killing mentally retarded persons for crimes even if it's pretty sure those people didn't know what they did. further on i have he More..

LOL Lots of funny stuff in this one!
I especially liked the "this kind of arguments often comes from people who would agree with killing mentally retarded persons for crimes even if it's pretty sure those people didn't know what they did"

yeah, i'm sorry. that's a horrible sentence. i think it's still understandable but it's probably on the brink to nonsense.
of course this neither changes my opinion that it's wrong to execute mentally retarded people nor that abortion should be legal.
i guess my english sucks, i don't even know wheter "nor" is a word...

He is pointing out other examples of human life being devalued.
Pretty solid examples as well.
This reminds me of my cousin who married a lefty lawyer. To lefties a fetus is a parasite.
Heaven help us.

That you think comparing insects to unborn children is the same logic means we can stop now.

@RP2012 LOL. It would be best as you said to move on, this guy obviously has no clue about how discussions work or how arguments work. Or how reason works. Or how logic works. Or how anything works.

@StopTheCancer what about the people with no voice who can't defend themselves?

@StopTheCancer What a cop-out. The weak must be defended. Those with no voice must be spoken of. You sound like an incredibly narcissistic person who thinks the world is a battleground wasteland and that it's every man for himself.
Try having a family and then you won't be saying that.

If an unborn baby is not worth anything because it can't live outside the womb, then what are your opinions on those on life support?

@radiofreak If they are a baby in the womb than can we claim them as a dependent?

However your thoughts on women's rights, it's their choice. If you don't believe that, than allllll you right wingers who talk a big game about big government intrusion and freedom, means fuck all.

@Zardoz003 Indeed, if they do not want to have a baby then maybe they shouldn't get drunk one night and fuck some random guy and get pregnant because they were too stupid to take birth control or use a condom at the very least.
I'd wager that most abortions are done out of convenience and as "quick fix" for women to dodge personal responsibility.

@john_b I wouldn't presume that, and there is no way of knowing, but I do know that it's a very serious matter and a woman and her doctor are the only ones to make that decision.

@Zardoz003 sorry, nothing you can say can convince me abortion is moral, right, or justified. Sex for pleasure isn't a human need.

@john_b I would never say Abortion is moral, right or justified. I am against abortion personally as is my wife, unless of course in the case of rape or the life of the woman.
That said, if some prostitute is doing it to keep her "career" going, well than that's abhorrent. even then however I would not infringe on her rights.
I also wouldn't try to stop someone from killing themselves or jailing anyone who tried.

The supreme court thinks corporations are people. Why can't we abort some of them too? This country doesn't need an additional 50 million people. Use your fucking head.

@beans Corporations are made up of people and only people. they are controlled by people and only people. Therefore, corporations are basically just organized people. Don't see how all the uneducated buffoons are up in arms over that statement.

An even greater number of children are "aborted" after they are born by their bio-parents. That is why we have things like deadbeat dads and moms, cps, increasing drop-out rates, foster care, orphanages, homelessness, ghettos, juvenile and adult detention, etc...
Street crime is a direct result of two things: drugs, or improperly raised valueless bastards.
The only way abortion affects the lives of the shrinking number of working, law-biding, responsible parents and taxpayers is when More..

I'm not in favor of late-term abortions, but I believe that a fetus in the first three months of development has no more "sense of self" than a cabbage. We HAVE to reduce the population of this planet somehow: our medicine has gotten too advanced for disease to do it; even our wars don't kill enough (fertility and birth rates go up in humans when they are stressed)- in another 100 years (or less), we will be at several "tipping points" where the ecosystems of the Earth will n More..

@Jottritter I will never stand for what you just tried to justify. Human technology will become better. I bet you anything our reliance on non-renewable energy will go down, or we will create more efficient ways of using that finite resource supply and make it last. No one knows if early babies are self aware and I don't think it matters. It is still a human being, growing.

@Serolis It is about personal accountability and of course radical feminism. I am personally against abortion, but realize it will never "go away". With that said, pro-abortion women will state that it's their body and no one should have any influence on it but themselves. Okay, how come, if they're are so in control of their bodies they can't manage to keep from getting pregnant? Certainly there is the issue of rape and incest (less than 1% of all abortions in the US btw), but o More..
