Are Illegal Immigrants ALLOWED to join US Military?

What are the issues facing me this election? Immigration again is my #1 issue. How can an illegal immigrant enter our US Military? How is this even possible?

In there case it seems, the government is confused. They both have Social Security Cards, doesn't that alone mean they are citizens?

These presidental candidates need to get their ideas together, they need to come up with ways to resolve this problem. I thought President Obama had talked pre-election about solving the immigration problems in the US.. but here we are 4 years later and NOTHING has been done. Obama shouldn't have to "pardon" these 2 veterans. In my eyes they ARE citizens of the USA.

Ever here of Israel? Thats a whole country based on the premis of foreigners leaving their own country to join theirs based on race of course. And of course theres the french foreign legion.   • You should thank them instead of trying to give them the shaft. People like you annoy the fuck out of me. SO concerned over something so ridiculously mundane.

    Maybe change your focus to something a little more important, maybe like, stop dumping money everywhere else instead of here in the states where its actually needed. Maybe I wouldn't have to continually vote to pass and raise my property tax to help fund my kids schools.

  • I say let em join. Normally I hate beaners with a passion. Normal, worthless beaners who do nothing but drive wages down, have anchor babies, don't bother learning the language - those kinds.

    But shit, if a beaner is willing to join the military, learn English and is willing to die for the US, I see this as an acceptable way to gain citizenship.

  • I think its pretty honorable for an illegal immigrant to join our military to serve considering our military isnt just sitting around but actually fighting. If thats how they want to earn their citizenship then more power to them. I couldnt imagine myself serving in someone elses army even if lived there legally
