This video is beautiful. It's what happened during an Anonymous protest in Nottingham.

He felt loved for a few minutes.

  • Later that day, he changed in the nearest public toilet, drove away in his SUV and told his gypsy wife and his seven welfare-children about the stupid protesters he met today.

  • I used to walk past a Homless older lady in the city of Sydney about four times a week. Shed always be out the front of a church near Circular Quay.
I'd always bring her a large Mc'Donalds meal and on the odd occasion apack of ciggarets as she was a smoker.
one day she was gone and then was never there again. still sadens me till this day.
You cant help everyone but it doesn't take much to make someones life a lttle easier no matter what the situation. some just need to smile.

She was probably sick of McDonalds

    • @conect111 i think that giving them food (or, o.k., even some cigarettes) is much better than giving them money, since that helps with the professional beggars problem my friend - i have felt like you once or twice (sad that my "favourite" beggar was not there any more)... unfortunately, in big cities you can't help them as you should (involved personally), and that is the reason so many "professional beggars" exists.

    • @ClearMud Mate you dont get it.
she was in her late 80's. somtimes there was a trail of piss running across the sidewalk wich i steped over on my way to work.
I ignored her for week's. yet then realised she was not a drug effected bum.
found out she was an english teacher and lost her husband during WW2.
The most fucked up thing is i never asked her name!

    • @zAbArAkAtrAnEmIA_TheGreat This beutiful wowan was well into her 80's. apparently she was a school teacher that hit the bottle after loosing her husband after WW2.
god bless her soul. i wish i asked what her name was.
i fed her for years and it wasn't always Maca's.
i would give her my Tuna or chicken rolls whatever i had for dinner that night.
      God bless her soul.

  • I should think it would be the acknowledgement that he was a human being that affected him more. I've spent time talking to bunches of these guys over the years, and found that it's what they crave. They go nuts without it and you see them running down the street talking to themselves. Can you imagine thousands upon thousands of people walking by you pretending you were not there? Pretty maddening, if one thinks about it.

    • @raging_hadron There's probably 2% of the homeless population that actually have had serious problems outside of drug and alcohol abuse.

The rest are just looking for handouts.

Would you father give a Bailout to a rich banker?

Or a Handout with 20% chance he's a lazy bastard.

    • @AgeOfStrife

you have your statistics backwards. 90% of homeless people are homeless because of some form of mental illness. the addicts, and losers are the great minority

    • @raging_hadron Really? Because every time I've tried to have a normal human conversation with a street person they keep changing the subject to me giving them money.

    • @AgeOfStrife. And, you ever heard that they make more money than working at an office with responsibilities?
A social worker for the city saw a fat lady with 3 kids on the street, they tried to help her (get her off the street), she rejected every help, and finally after some days they found out why, she was getting more money than them, and had a house for the night.
The trick is the kids, and look pathetic.
Oh i forgot, they rent the kids to other people, to beg on the street. Can you beliv More..

  • Man,bless the Anonymous hacktivists and the great work they're doing. These people give me hope. Too many Americans and Brits are too afraid to protest and spread truth.

Yeah, nothing like not working, wearing a mask and complaining about the proverbial 'system.' To top it off you get to act like mob, break things others paid for... and then go home to your parents' house and brag about what you accomplished!! What could be better -- besides of course an allowance raise?

    • @ClearMud Anonymous breaks people's stuff? Ugh,this isn't the Black Bloc movement. Learn about what the Anonymous group is about and then you won't spew this bullshit!

    • @ClearMud By that definition; Politicians and bank directors are the nicest people alive.

I'm sure you can agree that is most certainly not the case.

    • @murzi

America is the only place I've ever heard of that has the Hungry, the Homeless, those who can't seem to find a job no matter how hard they try...

And yet they bail out huge banks with money from the middle and lower classes so that their CEO's, SEO, Financial officers, and other head honchos can keep living the billion dollar life without fear that it will topple like a house of cards.

Maybe we were a superpower, now were just pawns in a large game of "Gimme money or else y More..

  • People are so fucking naive.
This guy is a professional beggar.
He's one of two things: either he makes a decent living from begging and actually lives in a house and has a good life from doing nothing, or he's a hopeless alcoholic who will immediately spend all the money on drink.
Either way, it's a waste of time to give him money, and these middle class twats only do it to make themselves feel good.
