Uncomfortable exchange between hosts Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards, who loves nuts on her face for cosmetic purposes.

Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards have been hosting the KTLA portion of the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California and this morning was no exception. They have become the face of the parade locally with thousands watching their program for a local perspective, but we’d like to see it not get too local after the banter we heard this morning.

Today the fans were blushing after some remarks were made live that made everyone run to the children to cover their ears. Even we almost fell out of our chairs because it was so stunning coming from a couple of veterans in the business.

The two were discussing (obviously from their notes) how the Rose Parade floats get their color and texture when making a face. Simply by grinding up nuts like walnuts to hold the color for several days and keep the float looking fresh. That’s when the remarks turned into an uncomfortable exchange as you will see in the video. We assume notes weren’t used for the remarks as nobody could write this and be of sane mind.

As Stephanie Edwards continues to tell the idea of the colors and how it is done she finishes by stating, “I am going to apply some nuts to my face this year.”

A nice guy would have let it go, but Bob Eubanks didn’t and he made a very nasty joke of it by laughing and stating “I will tell your plastic surgeon.”
