STILL BREAST FEEDING AT THREE YEARS OLD
As LiveLeak turns three it is obvious that the site is still in it's infancy and is suffering from growing pains that it should have long since outgrown. The site lost it's baby teeth a long time ago and has yet to replace them. The sites inability to prevent the enormous number of fake troll accounts along with the increasing number of completely inappropriate and hurtful comments that are meant only to incite, is causing the site to lose membership and general viewership. Although LiveLeak has a strong and faithful membership base, it remains to be seen if that will be enough to not only sustain the site but to help it grow stronger and better.

You can police your own video comments and shut down trolls with ease. This is a great site and I love it. Yes, it needs some work, but it is not a kiddie, over policed, bubble gum site. It's more the spirt the internet was founded on.

how would you know?
you only need spend 5 minutes on this site to identify those 2 shortcomings
as you stated: "2 reasons the site isn't doing as well as it could: xenophobia/racism sending certain demographics away, the coding sucks, needs a major overhaul. half the time the comments don't load...."
Do you really think that three days with half the comments is enough time to know the type of commentary as a whole?
How about giving me three examples of either racism or xenophobia in the past three days? Just the link(s) will do.

i went to d13.zedo.com just last night(got a little bar thingy at the bottom of the screen there that shows all the gates you go through just to watch a vid).turns out it's a subsidiary of Alexa Internet Inc.a Amazon.com owned company.

needless to say...i laughed myself to the floor.because i agreed.
