Safe Mode: On
Mitt Romney Saves the Auto Industry

-

Mitt Romney continues to take credit for things that he had absolutely nothing to do with. Not long after his advisor Eric Ferhnstrom said that the auto bailout was Romney’s idea, Romney himself is now saying the exact same thing.
During an interview on WEWS-TV in Cleveland on Monday, Romney said
that the auto industry bailout that he has been slamming as a horrible
idea these past four years is something he deserves credit for.
”My own view, by the way, was that the auto companies
needed to go through bankruptcy before government help. And frankly,
that’s finally what the president did. He finally took them through
bankruptcy. That was the right course I argued for from the very
beginning. It was the UAW and the president that delayed the idea of
bankruptcy.

  • Romney is a shill - a decoy who acts as an enthusiastic backer of ideas in order to draw others in - to delude, to deceive. The question is not: what are Romney's ideas? The real question is: who tells Romney what to say?

  • Congrats, Mitt. GM blows 25+ billion in bailout money just to restructure itself so that it can declare bankruptcy. Money well spent. Enjoy the New Detroit that you're taking credit for.

Here the US heads into another battle of the losers.

  • What? A politician claiming victory for an idea or process he had nothing to do with? Al Gore would be ashamed of such behavior.

  • More evidence that establishment politicans on both sides of the isle are two sides of the same coin. No bank, corporation, or union should ever expect a taxpayer bailout. That is not how free markets work.

  • "One thing Mitt Romney is good at is destroying companies. When Mitt Romney founded Bain Capital, he created a company designed to fire people, ship jobs overseas, and close down whole companies. "

Yup. Most Republicans think that this is a good thing, when it only benefits the bottom line (profit).

Yeah, we all know Mitt and Bush did it right? They gave the order. They pulled the trigger.

    • @elmerfudd13 No, actually it doesn't sound anything like that.
Obama was president and commander in chief when bin laden was killed and gave the order directly knowing it might fail and cost him the election.
Mittens is a lying sack of shit taking credit for something he vehemently opposed.
Do you see the difference or should I type more s-l-o-w-l-y???????????

And you lord obungles is a bigger lying sack of shit then Mitt. The credit for killing that camel jockey osama is the SEALS. Not that joke of a president. Should i type that more s-l-o-w-ly????????????

    • @elmerfudd13 Christ you are a fucking idiot.
The SEALS could not have done one fucking thing without his approval.
Yes, they killed him and deserve the credit for pulling the trigger but they could not have done it without his go ahead.
You think we have random fucking SEAL teams running around deciding what operations to get involved with???????
Your brain must hurt from being so fucking ignorant but I'm guessing you are too fucking stupid to feel a thing.

    • @elmerfudd13

do you think the President could just blame someone else like that!? for that Desert One debacle in 1980, who f*cked up? Who got the blame?

if americans had failed and died in that raid, the President would own up to it; he's not a mitt romney kind of guy and you know exactly what i mean.

  • The first line here: "Mitt Romney continues to take credit for things that he had absolutely nothing to do with"

Swap "Mitt Romney" with "barack obama" and add ", and ignoring his repeated failures of policy of a presidency that's going down in the books as one of the worst in the history of the United States."

rewrite this article from there and shorten by getting right to the point.... Makes more sense and would be much easier to read.

    Romney obviousl More..
