Salafi MP Mamdouh Ismail decides to start yelling out Islamic prayers during a Parliamentary session. to show his Piety. The speaker Saad al-Katatny from the Muslim Brotherhood himself, objects to this yelling, various threats are made:
"Katatny criticized the move and angrily interrupted Ismail, saying
that his actions were in violation of parliamentary procedures. Ismail
insisted on continuing the call to prayer, and Katatny then threatened
him with expulsion from the session.
“You are no more Muslim than any of us,” Katatny said. He went on to
tell Ismail there was a mosque in the parliament building in which
people can pray.
The incident caused a state of disorder within the session. Freedom
and Justice Party MP Al-Sayed Askar responded to Ismail’s, saying,
“During the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him, Muslims combined the

the salafists won 25 percent of the vote, the MB won 50, both want sharia law and a worldwide caliphate, the salafists are more demanding of changes, they want an immediate change in Egyptian society so that it resembles 7'th century Islam, the MB wants the same thing but will implement it more gradually, much the same way as Hamas did. Hamas btw, is a MB group
