  • It seems as if all Asian people have a cultural deficit with regards to empathy and love for animals. China & Japan are working feverishly to wipe out whales, sharks, rhinos, and other animals as fast as they can.

  • This is a big part of the reason so may bears are poached in the U.S. and Canada, most notably in Alaska and Ontario. Not at all uncommon for bears to be found shot and only their gall bladders removed, the rest left to rot.

    • @hedgehog However you feel, but the bears in this video are being raised in Korea (ironically probably because of cheaper labor costs) for markets in China.

  • Only moon bears have the best tasting bile says the traditional Chinese. It's seriously disturbing how backwards thinking (and stubborn/set in their ways) the people of China can be. With their economy on the rise, this kind of crap will just get worse, because nobody's going tell them if they can or cannot consume Moon Bear bile, shark fins, tiger bones, whole sea horses, or even the ever popular HORN of the RHINO (used mainly as a cold medicine & fever reducer!)
