I've eaten them many times. I do not care for them or maggots. They taste gritty and sandy.
But it is nice to know what you can eat in order to survive.
These boys need to just put it in their mouth and eat. Quit biting into it and screwing around. The same with many things.

I live in a large fishing community and my neighbors are mainly Laotian/Vietnamese. This is nothing compared to some of the stuff I've seen them eat. When they butcher a cow, they waste nothing, and I mean nothing. Best neighbors I've ever had though.
