Skyscraper on fire in Dubai
DUBAI, Nov. 18 — A fire broke out early Sunday morning at the 34-level high Tamweel Tower in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lake Towers District, destroying hundreds of apartments.The fire, which broke out at about 2 a.m. (2300 GMT) on top of the building, was still not under control at 10 a.m. (0700 GMT). So far, no human casualties have been reported.

and still it collapsed at nearly free fall speed into its own footprint. even more symetrical, even faster then the WTC 1 and 2.

Looks like it but it's not. First of all, the XD in the previous comment suggests an attempted 'joke'. So no need for a very serious answer to the question.
Still my answer was not a straw man. There is no rule that a tower on fire collapses, same as there is no rule that a car on fire explodes. The devil is in the details. This tower is constructed out of concrete for example. Concrete does not weaken due to fire, neither was there any impact damage from a plane.

Claiming otherwise is factually wrong and this has been known for decades by architects and engineers. I was trained in the 1980s to design steel frame structures with fire protection and even then it would only give a couple of hours of protection against collapse allowing evacuation.
