Suggestion for Liveleak for my fellow musicians and the site and Jam

I was thinking about a new addition for the site and some people wanted to hear some of my music it's not really a "song" just a fun little jam. One more thing even if you think someone isn't up to your standards in talent, "encourage"! it's better to see someone who used their energy in a positive way instead of blowing brain cells or hurting others. And you have to respond in a hateful way let's see your talents..I don't really mind hearing it used to that. I fired back at a few people today but sometimes trolls piss me off not at belittling me or what I do. But the fact that these people wouldn't say it to you in person. Cheers and I hope we can do something like that on this site

  • What would be cool is if all the LL musicians picked one song and you all posted a vid of you playing it with your respective instruments or talent, than someone else could make a video montage of it, that would be cool.

      Nice one. I saw a video about a year ago of people all over the world playing 'Black Dog'. It was edited so that each person got a measure or two, or even just a riff. Hundreds of clips, put together to make the whole song. Very cool.

    • @Telekill Me too im listening to the i-pod all day at work and at my night job too,classic rock,Blues, modern jazz and the most loved is Metal,My dad is in his 60's and we have a guitar he wants to sell,it's a 1955 Fender "Musicmaster" if you know anything about that.   • It would be very awesome to see all the LLeaker's who like to play musical instruments, post a video!
    Yes! Some would suck, some others would not! (yep! I would suck big time! I've never got into playing anything, hell! I don't even sing! Last time I try to sing in the shower,cops show up thinking I was strangling a lion, yup! that bad)

  • There used to be a lot of music posted by individual Leakers playing their own instruments. Mostly electric guitars. It was posted under "music" but was largely buried under the MTV vids that were ripped from Youtube.

    People would go from high production value, rock star vids to somebody doing a garage piece exclusively for Liveleak and they would just dump on it. That was a shame.

  • Count me in! It's a great idea, and it will motivate me to finally start posting some videos.

    Love your Tele, Telekill, it's a beaut. They are special guitars, aren't they? I sure miss mine--I play a Strat now, which I also love.

      So true--when I first got my Tele, I thought, well, it's a good guitar, but I'm not a country player.

      Pffft! Page recorded the first Zep album with a Tele! They are terrific instruments. I mean, yeah, if you want the mondo crunch you need humbuckers, but honestly, I think Teles and Strats can cover all ground better than Les Pauls (dont' get me wrong, I'd love to have one). A Fender can be overdriven beautifully, but a clean Les Paul will never have those slinky-sweet tones, that sp More..
