  • Colin Powell went to the UN and told the world that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. He knowingly lied. His word is no good. Go back in your hole Powell.

    • @Templeton
No. George Tennent, the then head of the CIA told Bush that the case for WMD's in Iraq was a "slam dunk." Bush and Cheney made up their minds not to listen to anyone else and convinced Powell to testify in front of the UN.

    • @Lazerhead I don't recall hearing George TENET and George Bush speak at the UN meeting the particular day I'm mentioning. It was Colin Powell who was speaking. If Colin was under the direction of the two gentleman and simply took their word for it without researching the facts himself, then he exhibits an inability to properly conduct due diligence which, in my opinion, is worse than my previous accusation. Therefore, if he is able to be lead like a sheep and unable to conduct his own research p More..

    • @Templeton

I didn't say George Bush or Tenet spoke to the UN. I said Tenet, and the Bush cabinet told Powell that it was a solid case for WMDs in Iraq. Tenet was the head of the CIA at the time. Powell was a General. When your top intelligence guy says there are WMDs in Iraq, Generals are usually inclined to believe them.

    • @Lazerhead Poor fellow, you don't have your facts correct which is probably why you're confused. Colin Powell was not the General of the Army at the time he addressed the UN. He had been retired for several years. He was the Secretary of State. I think you need to research history a little more before you speak on this subject.

    • @Templeton
Doesn't change the fact that the head of the CIA convinced him that Iraq had WMDs. He didn't lie, he was misled himself. Just like W.

  • I used to like Colin Powell, but he is a sale out, who is also a racist. He was the Secretary of State, put there by George Bush and claims to be a Republican.

But the second a "half" black man runs for office, he has a sudden change of heart. And decides to support a black man who had no prior record, who went to a racist church, wrote a book about his love for Communism and surround himself with radicals.

Fuck Colin Powell he is so trivial

  • Colon Powell is a Rino. He is a laughing stock of the republican party. No one that is politically serious heeds what this man says.

  • I wish Powell had run and won rather than any other choice we've had since 2000.

  • He sold out for the race! Nothing new here, he sold out four years ago.

  • Is that a racial thing there? Or is there a genuine belief by Mr. Powell that Mr. Romney has policy holes?
