Not all are assholes, most are just ignorant & basically lost in an emergency situation. They have no clue about what to do. No real life experience except what they've read about, or seen on TV etc.
Unfortunately there's also a bunch of self centered pukes who through life with the "It's Not My Problem" attitude.

With no intention to detract from Staff Sgt. Mitchell Corbin's commendable actions;
there was a time when the "story" would have been about anyone there who DIDN'T do everything within their power to preserve another person's life.
