I think you are wrong here, people were actually venting at Mayweather himself, yes it was in the singing of the anthem but it was more about Mayweathers actions and conduct.
I've never heard a crowd boo or disrupt an American anthem before, they can be rowdy but not as disrespectful as you make out. Most Brits actually feel an affinity to Americans, sure we berate the Liveleak video's of people fighting in the street, robbing defenceless people and yes they get the hump with people on here who More..
