Idiots.... Idiots everywhere.
Idiot first driver not paying attention at all, hitting the stroller. Idiot dashcam driver almost hitting mommy + stroller, while being able to see the mommy crossing the road behind the car almost all the time. Idiot mommy thinking that the crosswalk is protected by an invisible wall and watching out for idiots is not necessary.

Totally agree with you. Should've said dumb driving instead. It looked as though the crossing would slow down other traffic and make things more reasonable, however I now remember it's Russia where 85% of the population need to lose their driving license.

This happens all the time at busy intersections. Drivers are so intent at watching traffic coming from the left that, as soon as it clears, they forget to check for pedestrians to their right before hitting the accelerator. A mistake we've all made, I'm sure. Still, dumb of the mother to not make eye contact with the driver before crossing.
