After a soldier from Central Security blows himself up during a military parade, the drums continue to beat in confusion while the dead lie on the ground. After the drums stop, crowds of soldiers rush to the dead, to the annoyance of an organiser on the microphone telling them to get away, fearful of follow up explosions. Probably one of the most horrific cleanups to be filmed then starts.

Central Security is headed by the unpopular nephew of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh who was recently ousted by the revolution. A splinter group within Central Security has appeared calling itself "The movement of the free officers and soldiers of the Central Security" and they retain their positions and uniforms. They are a group disillusioned with the leader of Central Security and accuse him of killing innocents and not paying soldiers wages. Most of the military officers in Yemen are notoriously corrupt. The group has previously officially announced that they were responsible for bombings inside the main base for Central Security on September 28th 2011, and October 10th 2011 (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=db9_1337817698). They are not connected with the separate group of Ansar Al-Sharia in southern Yemen which has been accused of having links with Al-Qaeda.

This shows how terrorism cannot be defeated by military might alone, and how terrorism grows due to extreme levels of official corruption and dissatisfaction.
