Collateral Murder - Wikileaks - Iraq REMEMBER

It is reposted, but don't forget.
Wikileaks has obtained and decrypted this previously unreleased video footage from a US Apache helicopter in 2007. It shows Reuters journalist Namir Noor-Eldeen, driver Saeed Chmagh, and several others as the Apache shoots and kills them in a public square in Eastern Baghdad. They are apparently assumed to be insurgents. After the initial shooting, an unarmed group of adults and children in a minivan arrives on the scene and attempts to transport the wounded. They are fired upon as well. The official statement on this incident initially listed all adults as insurgents and claimed the US military did not know how the deaths ocurred. Wikileaks released this video with transcripts and a package of supporting documents on April 5th 2010 on http://collateralmurder.com

  • great upload. whenever a pro-war tribute to all the 'heroes fighting for our freedoms' appears on liveleak, its flooded by pro-war fools that demonize anyone criticizing the unjust wars. I doubt I see any of them on this post. They choose to ignore the reality of whats really going on. shame on them

  • Why shouldnt i forget? It was already proven that they were carrying AK's and RPG's so its a legitimate target, not apache crews fault if photographer wanted to move with insurgents.

  • “No innocent civilians were killed on our part deliberately. We took great pains to prevent that. I know that two children were hurt and WE DID EVERYTHING WE COULD TO HELP THEM. I don’t know how the children were hurt.” Officer 2-16 US Major Brent Cummings.... bullshit.

  • I posted the original for this clip years ago. It got 150.000 views. I copied the name collateral murder and LiveLeak changed the name to collateral damage. My account got banned when I stated this in the comment section. LL mods are corrupt as fuck.

  • Dont know what to think...yes fair play for firing on the guys with AKs and RPGs but when then truck arrives and then men are clearly un armed and just removing the wounded this is very unfair...clearly murder.

  • When reuters requested sharing of the video of death of their journalist, the military refused. But Assange managed to get this truth out in public domain, and so the guy is now forced to hide from the US (or its surrogates).

  • The reporters should not have been on the scene alongside the insurgents. Whether they were insurgents or not (likely they were, high probability some others were not) they should have not been gathering in large groups after spotting a helicopter. Really, an armed helicopter can kill you just as soon as it looks at you. You shouldn't ever assume you're safe in a war zone. Consider it the opposite if you decide to join a crowd. This alone is considered suspicious behavior. It doesn't matter who More..
