WW2 German "Mistel" Aircraft Being Shot Down by American P-51's

Gun camera footage from US P-51's shooting down a German "Mistel" aircraft

The "Mistel" was a last ditch German weapon designed for ground attack. A Ju-88 bomber was modified by being stuffed with explosives and fitted with remote controls and a detach mechanism, which led to a FW-190 mounted on top. Only the FW-190 had a pilot, who took off with both aircraft in the hopes of finding some large target to bomb with the Ju-88, which was used as a sort of unmanned kamikaze.
