Another Shooting in the USA: Two police shot dead and two injured in Louisiana
Two police officers have been shot dead and two others wounded after they were attacked in the US state of Louisiana.
The shooting happened early on Thursday in the community of St John the Baptist Parish, near New Orleans.
Police spokesman Captain Dane Clement told reporters the gunfire rang out in a car park for a refinery beside the Mississippi river.
Two suspects are in custody and the search for a third suspect is underway,the Times-Picayune newspaper reported.
The two wounded officers are undergoing surgery, local media report.----

Wow carrying guns about did not protect them I'm shocked as according to usa liveleakers it is 100 percent fool proof.
Wish I had a quid everytime an American mentioned his 45 and how he would have killed the gunman.
Also how did a killer get hold of these guns? As they have laws against criminals getting guns

i really don't know what was going on with those cops but most americans know better then to go knocking on a trailer without taking some pre-measures first. and as evidence shows gun bans don't stop gun possession, why i know a guy just down the street with a shop in his backyard. he makes his own ar-15's

Two separate shootings, both ambushes. The two officers that died were investigating the first shooting where two deputies were wounded. As they were investigating a mobile home they asked two men to step outside. They complied, but a third man came out of the trailer with an "assault weapon", killing both deputies.
