@aureliusva Yup. We are fighting a war we should never be part of.. and making ourselves a target... just so a select few people in the US can make a shitload of money from military and oil.
As for this guy... I don't really consider him a hero. A real hero would stand up and say "I'm not going to fight in a war that is illegal". If everyone in the army did that... there would be no war.

@david2dogs being a hero is killing who the american government says is bad? hmm, i guess one would have to completely trust the government and our elected officials.
maybe being a hero is gving a man a gun and putting him in a country surrounded by other men with guns and then applauding when he does something to keep himself or his friends from being killed.
i can see how someone might think along those lines. i don't, but i can see how someone might.
