Kabul (BNA) 21 Taliban rebels were killed, 9 rebels wounded and 27
others were detained in mopping up operations of Afghan and coalition
forces.
Interior ministry press office said to BNA, the security forces in 24
last hours conducted nine mopping up operations in the outskirts of
Kabul, Nangarhar, Faryab, Helmand, Urozgan, Logar, Ghazni, Paktika and
Paktia provinces, in which 21 Taliban rebels were killed, 9 wounded and
27 others were detained.
In these operations, 270 kg of narcotics, 10 Kalashnikovs, a rocket
launcher, 2 anti-vehicle mines, 13 grenades and 6 motorbikes of enemies
were seized by these forces as well.
