You suck, I wanted to be a door gunner, but there was no MOS for it, so I picked 19D, Cavalry Scout. I did not want to get stuck on the flight line, with a broom in my hand........
If I remember correctly, you have to be a load master or crew chief to get a seat in one of these. And since you have to go for the ride, might as well put something in your hands other than your dick?
I am disabled now, but still have been very tempted by contractors as a door gunner in the box....mone More..

@reaper7recon 15U man. CH-47D Mechanic. I turned wrenches over deployment, but was picked up as a door gunner. Did a few runs like this in a training environment. It's a fun job, and a rewarding job.
Yes, you are right, Apache Pilot would probably be top. But then again no one wants to shoot at an Apache. Kinda takes the fun away from it.
