Hundreds of Palestinian Muslims hurled stones at Israeli officers in Jerusalem after Friday prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque while protesters rally against anti-Islam film also in Akko; similar protests held worldwide



Hundreds of Muslims are rioting and hurling stones in the old city of Jerusalem over the film mocking Islam. The clashes begun right after the friday prayer at the al-Aqsa mosque. The rioters hurled rocks at the Israeli police forces,while chanting in favour of Muhammed and tried to march to the American consule house, but the police forces prevented them of doing so by using stun grenades.

Several policemen were lightly hurt from the rocks.


Meanwhile, in the town of Akko in Northern Israel,hundreds of Arabs came out from the Al-Jhazar mosque and called not to remain silence over the insult of Islam.

One of the locals said the protesters are calling 'Allha hu Akbar" and other calls in favour of Muhammed, but the protest is not violent.



Clashes also continue in Cairo and Yemen and the protests also reached Kuwait,Qatar,,Jordan,Bengaladesh,Pakistan,Philipines and Indonesia.



In Sudan the rioters are trying to break into the British embassy.
