Poodle Moth

A moth that looks like a poodle! A new insect hybrid creature found in
Venezuela, the poodle moth species is causing an internet buzz around
the web.

While exploring marine biology and the regional wildlife
of Venezuela, Dr Arthur Anker discovered this adorable looking species
of moth which is now being called the poodle moth as its popularity is
spreading like wildfire around the internet.

These images were
uploaded to Arthur's flickr page which is linked in the description
below. Scientists have identified around 200,000 species of moths so far
and believe there may be over 1 million different species in the world.

While
moths are typically known for eating clothing, most adult moths do not
eat at all as many species do not even have mouths and must rely on
drinking nector to live.

Some people are saying that this has to
be some type of wicked photo shop mix of a bird, a dog and a butterfly
while others believe that it is real as Dr Anker's flickr page is full
of incredible close ups of insects and underwater wildlife that tend to
show some pretty unique views that make even some common animals looks
very strange.
