Miami driver finds owl trapped in car grille
When a motorist was flagged down in a car park in Miami, the last thing she expected to be told was that she had a stowaway on board.
Sonji Coney Williams had been driving her car for a day before a Great Horned Owl was spotted trapped in the grille of her vehicle.

i had one fly within about 10ft of my head a couple weeks ago.
the owl waas not flying fast.
it only made a slight sound as it cruised through the atmosphere.and for some reason even though the raptor wasn't flying fast the sound stayed behind it.
one of the most interesting things i've learned since i figured out why hawks soar :)

@-sloop- Yes I think so, just it's strange that after to be hit and pass through the grid the owl was ok without any broken feather, I hit two time smaller birds on the road by accident, I stopped immediatly to see what happened, because of the noisy choc, but they didn't survive.
I saw sometime nice birds like falcons on edge of highways hit by cars or trucks unfortunately with the same result; these birds hunt there small animals crossing the road ...

@LibertyEqualitySauerkraut__Actually, he didn't pass through the grid. From what I understand he somehow glanced the bumper and went under it and became trapped between the radiator and the grille (grid). Makes sense to me.
