DIY Clouds: Russian millitary smoke machine
The TMC 65, used for military obscurement. Smoke can be IR reflective or other properties, according to mix used. 6 mins, for the faithful only.
Unlike indoor/outdoor effect smoke machines that run on carefully heat regulated and pretty non toxic glycerine/distilled water/glycol/mineral oil mixtures, this one is jet powered and burns oil mixes from what I have learned, enjoy! Dedicated to Al Gore.

Cool idea.
Rommel used a similar tactic in North Africa during the War. At one point when the German forces were outnumbered, he had his men use all the vehicles to create dust clouds. The British figured Rommel had way more tanks than he actually did, and so they backed off.
