This video filmed by GAIA exposes the suffering caused by the Halal method of animal slaughter.

As you can see the animals are not stunned before they are killed. It proves that the
animals endure several minutes of sheer panic and agony before they die.
This slaughter is happening around the world including Europe. It is
also happening in the U.K. This meat is also being imported to the U.K.
in large quantities RIGHT NOW. It is being sold in restaurants, pubs,
schools, supermarkets, and many fast food outlets across the UK -
completely unlabeled.

You may well have eaten this stuff without realising it.

  • I was a dairy herdsman for 10 years. I saw a lot of cows die, and a lot of cows slaughtered. This makes me fucking sick! Never thought I'd get this moved by something like this! Fucking monsters, go rot in hell!

  • i dont see anything wrong with this way of slaughtering, animals have been killed this way for 1000s of years. its not fun to watch but its a necessary task so you can have your dinner. if you dont like it then dont eat meat.

      sorry bud, ive been to slaughterhouses before. the animals are lifeless faster when their throats are cut than when they get shot in the head with an airgun.

    • @Ahhyoou A shot with "the gun" to the head is proven to be much faster, what you will see a lot of is just muscle movement because of the head trauma, spasm i think is the right translation. I have family members that worked in slaughterhouse for over 40 years and they tell of the positive development. So i'm sorry but i cant agree with you.

      thats cool, im not forcing you to agree with me. if you look up other videos with animals being shot with the air gun, you will see them jumping and flailing around and doing the same thing these cows were doing. And they scream when they start to get skinned after the shot. sometimes they have to get shot twice. thats more humane? no animal wants to die, but again, its a necessary task so you can go to the market and buy a steak. At least this way they bleed out quickly.

    • @Ahhyoou I mostly hunt my own steak but i see what you mean. I just don't agree with you. A captive bolt stunner is applied to the livestock so as to produce quick unconsciousness in the animals before they are bled. we agree to disagree.

    Boycott any and ALL establishments that deals in halal meat.
    Your choice, your voice, but added to other voices, you become a group and added to other groups you become a movement and as a majority your spending power will soon see establishments that cater for minorities lose business and profits.
