If you actually believe that man is/was ever a US Marine, you will believe anything.
I've got friends in the Royal Marines who would have wiped the floor with the Japanese fighter. All NATO troops are trained to a similar standard, so there is absolutely no way this guy is legit.

@Fast Bowler The Royal Marine Commandos are on a league of their own, you cannot possibly compare them to their US counterparts.
USMC basic training is 13 weeks to sustain a force of 250,000. Royal Marines train for 32 weeks for a force of 8000.
I have a friend in the USMC and hes about the same size as this guy.

@fludblud You are clueless...a trained boxer in this arena would beat the living shit out of any Royal Marine, US Marine or any other "commando" type. Boxing is a totally different skill and the rules of this match prevent any "commando" training to have an value.

I was telling him that Royal Marines and US Marines are two vastly different forces with dissimilar purposes and they shouldnt be compared to each other.
