Try tying a 1.5 litre coke bottle or similar to a cinder block, load with a little water and dry ice, quickly screw the cap on and drop it off a pier... produces an insane shockwave that makes the whole pier shake/vibrate... just make sure you tie the bottle properly, and don't use weak string lol :D
