    • @tehll The government is the framework for everything. the government builds community centers..housing developments...countless projects including all the roadwork around you. NO ONE in this coutry has built anything without help somewhere or sometime. Its like taking a shit in the toilet and saying "Im sure glad my turd rolled perfectly down the plumbing"

      You are right in a way. Someone like your parents, friends, a banker that saw benefit and then your customers helped to build it.

      Sure the government builds roads, but building roads is usually at our request. Taking money to build roads is OK, and probably is with most people, because we get a personal benefit for the roads.

      Taking my money, against my will, to help someone get free housing, clothing, food, medicine is just that, against my will.

  • Forget about all the logisitics of todays society. Its scary to think people see the government as a builder. Truth be told read some history about the USA, its the great people of the USA that built the USA and made it prosper NOT the government!
