1967 Chevrolet Camaro 502 Big-Block Restomod

Not quite original....but sexy.

1967 Chevrolet Camaro. This beast is powered by a ZZ502 Big-block crate
engine, that's pushing out 502 HP and 567 LbFt of Torque. All that power
is being funneled through a Centerforce clutch, to a Borg Warner T10
four-speed, and then back to a 12 bolt rear with 3.55 gears. This car
has all the performance you need and then some. It's also a beautifully
restored car, from the ultra slick black exterior with SS trim, to the
completely restored houndstooth interior. It's also equipped with front
disc brakes,

  • This car is like my Harley. It sounds fantastic, looks awesome, but compared to a modern bike, it's junk. You have to want that old school look and sound. Otherwise, your money is better spent on a modern performance machine for less money.

  • Nice car with an awesome powertrain but i prefer the 69 Camaro body style more,Firebird/Trans Am from 69 - 73 are the best in my opinion.

  • Very clean sleeper.

The sound sort of gives it away though.

  • Hell yeah, absolutely gorgeous, perfect stance & killer BBC power & sound.

Me likey, me likey alot :@)

Just needs a bit deeper rumble at idle, must be using a well advertised but poor sounding muffler.

    • @Ruffus I think that might be the way 502's sounds, they lack compression, only 9.6-1. Need at least 10-1 to get a good "pop" out of the exhaust.

You may be right, but I think it's more the muffler they used.

My old 70.5 RS with 396 sounded awesome. But then again it had 12-1 comp. & Hush Thrush Turbo's.

My Jeep with an LT1 & Flowmasters sounded awesome, put on a set of MagnaFlow's & it sounded like shit. YMMV, but I'll never buy Magnaflows again.

    • @Ruffus Yeah, they are junk lol, I was reading some other comments and some noob said he had seen that exact car just earlier, and that it sounded like shit then also. Maybe a fueling or timing issue.

    • @Ruffus I just don't understand why poeple dont use air/fuel ratio gauges, they are expensive but easy to use and will let you know immediately whats going on, lean/ rich, how its idling, how the lean cruise is working. between that and a vacuum gauge, you'll have yourself a rolling dyno!

  • I loved it when the engines were that simple. Was the 502 a stock model? No. The badge says it was a 396. I thought that was the biggest stock size for the Camaro i '67. Where did the 502 come from? A Vette?

  • i was just by there today. that car looks like SHIT. the bodywork is wavy as fuck if you look down the sides.
the exhaust sounds like crap too, sounds like a weak small block cackle not big block thunder like you should get out of a 502.

nice commercial guys, if you put out decent work you wouldnt have to resort to putting up free commercials on youtube and liveleak to get people to buy cars from you guys.
