  • The answer is no. Although the U.S. Constitution discusses the election of public officials in several articles and amendments, it does not mandate the right to vote. Those constitutional amendments restricting voter discrimination based on race, gender, and other reasons, are carefully worded so that they are conditional on the individual states allowing voting at all. This is very much on purpose. If any state wanted to, they could pass laws so that the congressmen, senators, and electoral vot More..

  • It. Does not matter if you think you have the right. Your vote does not count. Only the top three percent's count. Bush got his second term by stealing votes. This year acorn was busted forging voter reg. Information. So the sheeple think they count. Bwaaaaa.

    • @ST0N3PONY So you believe they gave us computerized voting with no way to confirm it's accuracy because they want to "help America vote" right? After all it was called the "Help America Vote Act".

I am certain you also believe that powerful people aren't corrupt nor do powerful and successful people plan, plot, scheme or conspire with others since they are powerful and successful on their own with just sheer dumb luck, "no planning required".

  • that's correct, and no Republican speaker has spoken anything contrary to the point being asked.
But let's get to the actual point of interest. The Constitution doesn't provide for "illegal" immigrants to have the right to cast a ballot. You must be of qualification to cast a ballot. Pretty clear stuff really. If you do not belong to the qualification of being a citizen you do not have the right to stand before the ballot box and choose the government to represent you.

  • Article I, section 2: "The House of Representatives shall be composed of members chosen every second year by the people of the several states". If the right to vote is not assumed, how would this happen?

  • I got suckered into a trick question: The Constitution does not enumerate our rights; it enumerates the powers of the government.

  • The answer is NO...but it doesn't matter because no one checks for ID's...so technically anyone can fucking vote. It's a bunch of shit!!!!
