  • yeah Canada is stupid to buy these planes...Douche bag Mckay has a hard on for these planes but from test flights and pilots they hate this plane...too complicated to fly,performance not much better than the current planes and repair time is long...they notice these planes dont do well in close dog fighting tends to over shoot its target....

    • @gizmo8 I can tell you don't know what you're talking about. They got multiple gun kills at Red flag, as for performance, this jet has much more wing area than the F/A-18 and F-16, maybe not so much more than F-15. It also has more dry thrust than an F-18 using afterburners, and nearing as much as an F-15 using afterburners. This plane is only problematic because it's a new generation of fighter aircraft full of new gadgets which takes some work and getting used to before it becomes second natur More..

      Canada isn't buying these planes, they're buying the F-35 (which I personally disagree with. They should've got the new super hornets and a few growlers instead). The raptor cannot be exported to any country, and in fact, is no longer produced, both of which is a damn shame.
      With a few upgrades (and perhaps the -35's skin) it would've been real nice.
