Men in Construction Outfits Rob Jewelry Store

Investigators hope surveillance video of an armed robbery inside a Rancho Cucamonga jewelry store will lead them to the suspects.

Police say two men dressed in orange construction outfits jumped over the counter at Eddie Jewelry on Thursday.

One man ransacked the store, while the other tied up the employees at gunpoint, then ordered them to open the safe.

The victims eventually freed themselves, and the store owner shot at the suspects.

They fled in a white Kia Sorrento, according to police.

  • This happened directly behind my house yesterday afternoon...so bizarre to stumble upon this video right now. I just found out about the robbery today. They escaped in a stolen car and swapped it for another a block from my house. The owner of the store fired a shot at them as they left the store and is lucky to have not killed any bystanders as there is a Starbucks directly across from this jewelry store!
