  • When my Coke is warm, I put the ice in a glass and pour the Coke into the glass, the Coke seems to get cold really fast. If I'm in a cocktail lounge, sometimes the bartender will put rum in my Coke. It makes me feel friendly. I like that.

  • Mythbusters did this but it's basic chemistry. Granted if your having one coke put the friggin ice in the glass, but say it's saturday and you have half a case of beer from friday that is warm, this works well. I do it all the time. Just fill the ice chest with ice and salt and the cans and in about 8 - 10 mins. without stirring you'll have a nice cold beer.

  • By the way, If you stir it in just regular ice water w/o salt for two mins it cool in the same amount of time.
