Technically, America isn't a democracy at all... It's a Republic with some democratic institutions. Our Republic's Constitution and its ideals were slaughtered on a table with the stroke of a pen last December 2011 with the passage of the NDAA. However Freedom is an idea, but the means of retaining that idea without the spilling of blood has been vanquished. They now are preparing for that next phase if you haven't noticed.
