  • In that video it looks more like chipped paint than rust. It will ofcource rust sfter that but locations of those spots are a bit suspicious. A bad aftermarket paintjob? (maybe on a stolen car?)

  • Looks like he opted for the discount paint job. That used to be a notorious racket in the U.S. years ago. There was a popular joke that so-and-so would paint your car for $29.99 and do your interior for free if you left your windows down.

    Another possibility is that the car was stolen and re-painted.

    Yes.. well.. if you stopped opening the doors into walls and other cars there would still be paint on the edges to protect the metal underneath from rust.

    I can see why the dealership isnt helping.. its got fuck all to do with the car maker/seller if you dont look after the fucking thing.

It happened years ago and they felt completely cheated because the Americans had hidden the true sales figures during the sale. So, the Germans sold the shitty company to Fiat - yes, the Italians now own Chrysler. Wake up and smell the end of North American manufacturing success.   • Yup, Mercedes: Cheap tat sold expensively.

    Don't get me wrong, they go like stick. But like the Japanese, too much emphasis is put on the engines, toys and brand. Not enough on the bodywork and chassis. My 13 year old Peugeot has no rust on it, thanks to a galvanised body and chassis. Something Mercedes do not do!
