@butter What's funny is that the guard probably would have been cool if the kid hadn't physically pestered the guard to give his board back for the entire walk back to the gate. If he had displayed a shred of humility, he may have gotten his board back in one piece, but he couldn't keep his mouth shut.

You can call the security guard an ass or childish for what he did but he actually started by being quite reasonable. He even asked the kid if it would be alright to walk into someones house if their door was open... No, it's still wrong. It almost appears as though had the kid aknowledged his 'mitake' and more promply promised to never tresspass again, he'd have gotten his skateboard back, so it was broken, tough shit.
